Are you really thinking?
Most of what we do in our teams and organisations is lower order thinking. Most “problem solving” in teams and organisations is not really problem solving. In reality, we do very little true problem-solving or critico-creative reasoning – the type of higher order reasoning that produces breakthrough ideas and innovation.
This is in large part because the modern world is characterized by domain expertise (e.g. Bankers do banking and Lawyers do law), so we use domain experience and received wisdom to “solve” problems in familiar, known ways.
Without realising it, we have established rigid, uncreative patterns of thought that is undifferentiated and limiting. This is why a lot of organisational problems remain unsolved and have become perennial.
Standing out from the crowd requires a different way of thinking
These rigid, uncreative patterns of thinking create a herd mentality that tends to get entrenched in organizations and in industries leading to “competition of the lowest order”. Players in an industry will tend to circle the same watering holes year after year – based on the similar mental processes and perspectives.
Once in a while, a true thinker emerges – able to bring the future into the present, bucking industry trends and changing the rules of the game. The result is outstanding performance and an industry that looks to do what they do best – copy them! Like they say, mimicry is the highest form of flattery.

Scenario gaming
Participants face simulated real-word scenarios with resultant consequences and are required to make optimum decisions within the given constraints.
Role Playing
Participants take on roles of characters within a predefined case to build up relevant skills and clearly demonstrate how they may be applied in real life.
Interactive Coaching
As required, participants are walked through issues/situations that require deep dive. Allows for tailored engagement
Panel Discussions
Participants engage with a multi-faceted panel that bring and integrate varying perspectives.
